Nordic Haemostasis is a Swedish manufacturer of quality controls for point-of-care (POC) coagulation diagnostics, mainly for external quality assessment organisations (EQA) and POC instrument providers.

Since 2022, Nordic Haemostasis is a part of Nordic Biomarker, a fellow Swedish coagulation product manufacturer specialised in coagulation reagents and controls for laboratory use. Nordic Haemostasis operates as an independent wholly owned subsidiary but we have an ongoing integration project.

Rapid INR Control F

Rapid INR Control F is a fluid control that is used to control the function of patient-related instruments for measuring prothrombin complex (PK).

Rapid INR Control F is compatible with Coaguchek® XS, Coaguchek® XS Plus and Coaguchek® XS Pro, Coaguchek® XS Pro II from Roche Diagnostics, Xprecia Stride from Siemens and iSTAT from Abbott.

The control material has been developed for long shelf life (1 month) at cold storage (2-8 ° C). Rapid INR Control F can also be stored in ordinary freezer (-20 ° C) for up to 6 months.

The control material is packaged in an easy-to-use plastic pipette can be used directly to apply the control on the test stick.

Levels

Levels can differ slightly depending on instruments and reagents.

We can typically provide levels between INR 1,3 - 5,0.

Rapid D-dimer Control

Rapid D-dimer Control is a liquid plasma control for d-dimer analysis. The control can be used on automated coagulation instruments but also on patient close D-dimer instruments such as Cobas h232.

  • Open package can be used 5 days
  • Cold storage (2-8 °C): 1 month
  • Long-term storage: <-20 °C

Levels

Rapid D-dimer Control can be ordered at the desired level between <0,2-2 mg/L and volume aliquoted in vials or as bulk. The level is set with Sysmex-2500 and MRX Red D-Dimer reagent. 

   

INR Control Kit Red

Lyophilised quality control for point-of-care PT/INR instruments such as Coaguchek, microINR, iSTAT and LumiraDx.

ACT Control Kit Red

Lyophilised quality control for point-of-care instruments measuring activated clotting time (ACT).
